Experiments in Logotype

An assignment done for Typography. We were instructed to play around with our initials as shapes in type and these were some of the results I came up with. Going left to right, top to bottom was the general thought process I had while making these. I tried to seek out negative space within the letters, and then realized alternative shapes could be used to suggest the letter forms I was looking for.
